The thesis presents a systematic preliminary airport master planning process for the Monterey Peninsula Airport District. Federal Aviation Administration airport master planning is explained and examined. The history, current operations and organizations of the Monterey Peninsula Airport District are examined through research and personal interviews. Specific problems are identified along with the factors that must be evaluated to solve these problems. Specific recommendations for further projects are listed in detail. (Author)
