Airspeed calibration tests were conducted on the J-TEC Associates, Inc. Model VA-210 true airspeed sensor to determine its suitability for operational and flight test use as a helicopter and V/STOL aircraft airspeed instrument. The J-TEC system operates on the principle of counting vortices shed by a flubb body (cylindrical post) in the airstream. (Modified author abstract)
