This report presents results from a passenger survey on 15 highway ferry connection in Norway. Moss-Horten is the largest ferry service with an average annual daily traffic (ADT) of 4,749 vehicles. The smallest, Drag-Kjopsvik, has ADT of 163 vehicles. Traffic structure, the geographical area covered and seasonal variations also varies significantly across the respective services. The report includes a separate estimation of the amount of commuting traffic on the services based on data from the employment register provided by Statistics Norway.
