The purpose of this 1990 Conference was to bring together technical personnel in DOD and the aerospace industry who are involved in the various technologies required to ensure the structural integrity of aircraft gas turbine engines, airframes and other mechanical systems. It provided a forum to exchange ideas and share new information relating to the critical aspects of durability and damage tolerance technology for aircraft systems.
