The report contains recommendations for performing and evaluating side impact crash tests of roadside structures like supports, guardrail terminals, and utility poles. A 50 km/h full broadside tests using a small car is recommended. Evaluation criteria include recommendations for structural adequacy, occupant risk, and post collision trajectory. The occupant risk criteria use inidices obtained using anthropometric dummy tests devices.
