The review of tactical jet aircrew operational readiness training is the third of a series examining military pilot training programs. Flight training bases of the Navy, Marine Corps and Air Force were visited for the purpose of gathering data and discussing training methods and management. Basic differences were documented in organization for training. The following are also discussed: system for course development, review and revision, selection and training of instructors, techniques for evaluating students and course graduates, training technology, and the use of range areas.
