A series of wake survey experiments were conducted on Model 5365 representing the R/V ATHENA in the DTNSRDC towing tank. Longitudinal, tangential, and radial velocity components for experiments at model speeds of 2.87 knots (1.48 m/s), 5.22 knots (2.68 m/s), 6.96 knots (3.58 m/s), and 13.5 knots (6.94 m/s) are presented. Several comparisons are made between wake surveys with different water depths, trims, and speeds. A comparison of full-scale and model-scale towing tank wake survey measurements is also presented. Harmonic analyses of the circumferential distribution of the velocity component ratios were performed on the model experimental data and the results are reported herein.
