The report presents an analysis of commuting and regional development within the intercity region of eastern Norway. The long distance commuters from the intercity region are an important resource for the knowledge industries in the greater Oslo region. More than half of the commuters use the IC trains. Many combine commuting with remote work (telecommuting) and many are taking advantage of the travel time to work on board.
