The materiel resources subsystem for conventional ammunition forms an integral part of the Atlantic Fleet automated ammunition logistics system. It generates and maintains magnetic tape files which contain ammunition inventory with history for component part ammunition located on ship and shore stations in the Atlantic Area. The subsystem generates inventory reports at the request of and for the use of COMSERVLANT Ordnance Division (Code 20). (Author)
