This report provides a description of transportation system alternatives and requirements for the disposal of commercial high-level radioactive wastes in the subseabed. This description has been prepared to support the Department of Energy evaluations of the subseabed disposal option ongoing in the Subseabed Disposal Program. The transportation system alternatives described include highway, rail, and marine modes of transport for east-and-west and east-only reprocessing plant location scenarios. (ERA citation 11:002089)
