The alloy is useful in forming components of turbojet aircraft rocket-powered missiles and aerospace vehicles. The alloy contains 60 to 76 percent nickel, from 6 to 10 percent of molybdenum-tungsten, 4 to 8 percent aluminum, 4 to 8 percent chromium, 0.5 to 3 percent zirconium, 1 to 7 percent vanadium, 0.05 to 1.0 percent carbon, and 3 to 12 percent tantalum.
