The EMP payload on the Waso rocket experiment permitted a quantitative measurement of electromagnetic radiation generated by the Terrier and Sandhawk solid propellant rocket motors. Field strength of 6-MHz-bandwidth signals through six filtered channels with center frequencies of 20, 30, 40, 50, 60, and 70 MHz was recorded. These data together with some qualitative observations are presented. (ERA citation 02:014364)
