The Wisconsin Department of Natural Resources contracted for an archeological survey of proposed improvements to the Moon Valley Public Boat Access site on lake Wisconsin, Sauk County, Wisconsin. In the course of the survey, the project area was subjected to a pedestrian survey, the project area was subjected to a pedestrian survey and the excavation of some shovel probes and six shovel test units. No archaeological materials were encountered and no evidence of a mound group reported in the general area.
