The data bank developed for the REVAL WHEELS Study was used to prepare a mission description for the 1 1/4 ton limited mobility truck. This description was compared with similar mission descriptions derived from the FAVS data base and from an Army Materiel Systems Analysis Agency (AMSAA) war game. Areas of agreement and disagreement among the three descriptions were identified. Disagreements were resolved where possible. The validity of the AMSAA war game as a tool for mission analysis of Army Trucks was assessed and found to be acceptable. The physical and performance requirements of the vehicle needed to perform this mission were discussed in some detail to demonstrate the value of mission analysis to writers of Vehicle Specifications.
