Detailed reviews are presented of research into aeronautical fatigue conducted by private companies, universities, and government research institutions in Canada over the 1991-1993 period. Research projects are described in the areas of full-scale tests of aircraft and components, loads monitoring and measurement, fracture mechanics and crack propagation, composite materials and structures, and the fatigue and damage tolerance of gas turbine engines.
