The report describes present drunken driving legislation in the SADCC-countries. Epediomological evidence on drinking driving problem are presented. An overview of counter-measures to reduce alcohol related accidents is included. The report contains also recommendations on various measures to increase road safety by reducing the amount of drunken driving.
