A study was conducted to identify preferred technical concepts for an Army RPV kamikaze capability. The study included consideration of the RPV, communications, warhead and sensors with emphasis on variations in communications relay platforms (balloon, RPV, parachute) and types of communications (microwave, laser, fiber optics, wire). Onboard autotrackers for the terminal phase are also considered. Preferred configurations are identified. (Author)
