A number of semi-empirical and theoretical techniques are used to estimate the longitudinal and lateral aerodynamic derivatives of a twin turbo prop aircraft, the H.P. Jetstream. Estimates of the aircraft derivatives are performed for the aircraft in a typical cruise condition. Longitudinal parameters are calculated using classical theory and lateral derivatives are calculated using the semi-empirical methods of ESDU.
