The SSCOR PacVac Portable Suction Pump Model 10002 was tested for electromagnetic interference/compatibility in the UH-60A helicopter under the U.S. Army Program for Testing and Evaluation of Equipment for Aeromedical Operations. The tests were conducted using current military and industrial standards and procedures for electromagnetic interference/compatibility and human factors. Since in-flight testing of the PacVac portable suction unit could not be completed, its compatibility with the U.S. Army medical evacuation UH-60A Blackhawk could not be determined.
