The telemetry antenna systems developed for use on large diameter research sounding rockets have been investigated and test flights have been conducted. Three antenna concepts were studied: a flush-mounted antenna system, a surface-mounted system, and a directional system for attitude-controlled vehicles. Several successful designs have been completed and are now standard with Air Force research payloads. (Author)
