Examines the reasons for a drop-off approximately 45% in cargo airlift capability within the last 24 months. Examines the approaches presently underway to counteract the drop in cargo lift. Explores other alternatives which could increase lift capability while retaining those features that over 30 years experience with CRAF have shown to work well.
