A proposal is given for a climate research mission for Earth radiation budget measurements. This requires daily global coverage fulfilled by a system of three orbiting satellites. One of these is on a nonsunsynchronous drift orbit with about 57 deg inclination, represented by the satellite SEOCS. The two others are polar orbiting satellites, called POMS. Appropriate orbits are designed for these and concepts are investigated up to component level in order to demonstrate mission feasibility.
