The six models tested represent the majority of vessels in use. The water depth and speeds at which the models were tested were chosen to provide practical information on the magnitude of ship waves. The data and graphs presented will be valuable to harbor designers and port authorities in determining design waves or limiting speeds for ships in harbor areas and channels. (Author)
