The Symposium examined aviator situational awareness with consideration of conditions where problems occur, methods to assess situational awareness and latest methods for information management and presentation in the cockpit. Indications for future research needs discussed. These Proceedings will be of interest to those involved with human perception and cognition and those responsible for design of modern aircraft cockpits.
