Reports on the following technologies are included: engine design, exhaust gases, use of composites, bearings, and supersonic and hypersonic propulsion. constraint functions in order to generate feasible points in decision variable space having improved objective function values at each step. The methods are extensions of the method of approximation programming (MAP) to include second order effects of the decision variables.
