The impact velocity of the Moving Deformable Barrier was 33.7 mph, and the ambient temperature at the struck side (driver's) of the target vehicle at the time of impact was 67 degree F. The target vehicle post-test maximum crush was 12.0 inches. The test or target vehicle's performance is given: Head injury criterion -- Driver SID-Not available, Left Rear SID-584.5; Pelvic lateral acceleration -- Driver SID-101.5, Left Rear SID-93.2 g. The two doors on the struck side of the vehicle did not separate from the body at the hinges or latches and the opposite doors did not open during crash.
