The report evaluates the influence of two recent automobile windshield modifications on windshield damage and on the frequency, severity and nature of windshield related head injury. A sample of 2292 recent ACIR accident cases with 3480 drivers and right front passengers formed the data base for this study. These cars were 1964 to 1967 models manufactured in the United States and involved in frontal impacts. (Author)
