To investigate the possible utilization of the DIVAD radar unit or the components as range instrumentation with the ability to evaluate multiple target projectiles. Several possible applications considered were its use in the tracking of aircraft, air delivery loads, rockets, missiles, projectiles, submunitions, and as a substitute for foreign radar in countermeasure testing.
