The preliminary Advanced Technologies Testing Aircraft System (ATTAS) inflight simulation flight test results of the model following flight control system are described. A major portion of the current effort was directed towards estimating the time delays in the various control loop segments and incorporating these estimates in the controller design process and ground simulation software.
