In FY 2000, DOE.s Field Operations Program (FOP) produced a document that provided an overview of the transportation market in terms of energy use, vehicle sales, emissions, potential FOP partners, advanced technology vehicle availability, and other important factors. The document was intended to give a .snapshot. of current vehicle technologies and trends. DOE program managers use the document to plan test and evaluation activities that focus resources where they have the greatest impact. This document is an update to the previous publication.
