Five lunar transportation systems based on four different conveyors were designed. The systems were compared on the basis of a cost-benefit analysis for a life cycle of 60 yr. results show that rockets consuming fuels produced on the Moon are best for long range lunar surface transportation, considering low to medium transportation demands.
