This report documents the results of vehicle crash tests, crash reconstruction studies, computer simulations, and sled tests performed under the Countermeasures for Side Impact Research Program. Four full-scale vehicle-to-vehicle front-to-side impact tests were conducted to provide baseline data for the sled test development effort. The sled tests were used to evaluate potential padding countermeasures using prototype Side Impact Dummies.
