This report is on the development of a passive microwave tracking radiometer system which can be applied to surface-to-air, air-to-air, and air-to-surface terminal guidance technology. The objective of this current program is to further develop this microwave radiometer system as an effective means of passively tracking aircraft in both surface-to-air and air-to-air modes. At the request of the Navy Program Office, an evaluation is currently being made for operation in an air-to-surface mode to examine the feasibility of passively tracking ships and other oceangoing vessels in lieu of aircraft.
