Deregulation of European air transportation is discussed. Aim and content of proposed or decided regulations are considered, and proposals for the further development of the air transport system are offered. Aspects of competition, market entry and tariff regulations are presented and the fundamentals of air transport policy of Great Britain, Federal Republic of Germany and The Netherlands are described, indicating the points of view of the air transport managers (governments, airlines, and travel agencies) and of the users.
