Blowing snow is a problem because it: forms drifts on roads that can stop traffic and cause accidents; increases snow removal costs; reduces driver visibility; causes slush and ice; and leads to pavement damage. This book provides all of the information needed to design effective and economical measures for controlling snowdrifts and reducing the concentration of snow in the air.
