An Environmental Assessment (EA) was prepared describing the potential environmental impact of a stone core/sand dune/beach nourishment system proposed for the Atlantic shore at the Fleet Combat Training Center Atlantic at Dam Neck, Virginia Beach, Virginia. Areas of probable impact are the beach to be filled with sand, the offshore borrow area, the routes for construction equipment, and effects on sea turtles and whales.
