This report summarizes results of the St. Louis Region Small Sample Travel Survey. A total of 1,446 households participated in the survey, which was designed to collect travel characteristics data from residents of the St. Louis metropolitan region. The survey updates the 1965-66 Origin-Destination home-interview data. The primary use of the data will be to calibrate the East-West Gateway Coordinating Council's travel demand model, with applications in trip generation and trip distribution. This travel survey data will ultimately aid the Council in their preparation of transportation planning studies.
