The Civil Aviation Publication (CAP) states an acceptable means (but not necessarily the only means) by which approval may be given for UK-registered twin-engined aeroplanes to operate over a route that contains a point further than one hour's flying time (in still air) at the normal one-engine-inoperative cruise speed from an adequate aerodrome.
