The report investigates the effect of the installation of an enameled guide rail on driver behavior. Studies were conducted to obtain data on speed and placement, both at a control section and at the curve where the guide rail was installed. A statistical analysis of the data obtained indicated significant differences which were not considered to be practical. Durability and accident experience data are also to be evaluated for this installation at a later date. (Author)
