This is an integral component of the Interstate and Defense Highway 10 plan as the initial point of connection between Arizona and California. It comprises construction of grade and drain and the paving of two 38 foot roadways, the grade, drain and ultimate construction of a T.I. in the community of Ehrenberg. All of the project is in Yuma County, Arizona. The unavoidable but necessary removal of lands from the natural environment will occur. Through the utilization of some existing right of way, however, acquisitions of properties will be minimized.
