The design and implementation of a charge coupled device (CCD) camera; the development of evaluation software for orbit and attitude data; and Weilheim ground station receiving experiment are reviewed. The reception test included five consecutive orbits. A map illustrating the covering area is presented. The scientific applications are discussed.
