From March 1971 to July 1972, records of reported ship movements for four locations in Los Angeles and Long Beach Harbors were collected and maintained by the U.S. Army Engineer District, Los Angeles, and numerically coded onto computer cards. These cards were transmitted to the U.S. Army Engineer Waterways Experiment Station where they were computer analyzed and arranged into tables reporting mooring configurations and ship motion activity, which are presented in this report. The mooring information is to be used in analyzing and correlating ship motion with prototype wave data collected during the same study period as discussed in Report 1 of this series. Results of wave data analyses and correlations with ship motion will be presented in future reports of this series.
