Takeoff from Edwards AFB runway 04, at a gross, weight of approximately 450,000 pounds, occurred at 1117 hours PST. An emergency landing on lakebed runway 17 at 1210 hours. Total flight _time was 53 minutes, maximum speed and altitude were Mach 0.97, 35,000 feet.
