Presented in the report are the results of a flight test program of a towed light utility glider system. The system was designed to carry odd-geometry cargo, and demonstrated towed flight operations up to the maximum design weight of 1500 pounds, at a velocity range extending from 30 to 70 knots indicated airspeed. Testing also included takeoff and landings on tow with helicopters, and evaluation of the flight homing system. Free flights of the light utility glider were also made carrying a payload of 800 pounds. Presented also are the system description, and an aerodynamic and structural analysis. (Author)
