This paper describes the various instrumentation systems installed on the three aircraft assigned to the National Hurricane Researh Project. Explanations of the several systems and reasons for the different methods of recording are given. The paper also describes the calibration work performed to date; together with estimates of the reliability of the particular instruments, based upon the rather brief period of operation during 1956, or upon statements by the manufacturers.
