The purpose of this report is to determine off-street loading requirements for goods vehicles at different land uses. The background and characteristics of goods vehicles movement in urban areas are dealt with. A method of determining the total number of berths to be provided, is proposed, and guidelines are given regarding the distribution of these requirements between on- and off-street.
