An apparatus is described for aligning objects in outer space, such as shadow shields and cryogenic storage tanks, with the sun. The apparatus includes equally spaced vanes having a reflective outer surfaces so that when the pressures exerted by the light waves from the sun are equal on all of the vanes the shadow shield is aligned with the sun.
