This study was accomplished to investigate the effect of age and flying hours on costs to maintain an aircraft. Available literature was searched on the subject. Depot maintenance cost data for eight years were utilized to compare the costs of different models of four basic aircraft. The different models compared reflect different aircraft age and number of flying hours with similar missions. (Author)
