A research program for the development of a trial multiloop control system for the active control of vibration in the main rotor blades is described. This experimentation consists of the most significant applications of self-adaptive control techniques to stochastic systems. The various stages of the program are discussed, from the research on the theoretical model of helicopter vibratory behavior under the influence of multiloop control, to the system flight tests.
