The Advisory Report summarizes the results of the Propulsion and Energetics Panel Working Group 15. The Group was in operation 1980-1987 and performed test runs of two J 57 turbojet engines at eight different facilities for ground-level and altitude test, in five different nations. At two facilities the test were repeated in order to review a possible deterioration of the engines. The test rig accompanied the engines to the test facilities. The tests were performed observing a carefully composed General Test Plan, being the same for all facilities. Each facility used its own data acquisition and processing system. Keywords: Jet and fast turbine engines; Propulsion and energetics panel; Propulsion systems; Jet propulsion. (JG)
